Little River Casino Resort opened to the public in July of 1999 in Manistee, Michigan, after four years of working with federal/state and local government agencies. Manistee Gaming, Luna’s affiliate, developed the Little River Casino Resort, and managed the casino and resort from 1999 through 2004. The casino first opened with 500 slot machines in a facility consisting of 17,000 square feet of gaming space. As the result of an aggressive expansion plan, Manistee Gaming opened a new casino resort in June of 2002 with over 212,000 square feet of gaming and non-gaming space. Gaming consists of 1,300 slot machines and 35 table games. The new casino resort also includes a 300-room hotel with an indoor swimming pool, 46-stall RV Park, 10,000 square feet of convention meeting space, a fine dining experience, a 200 seat casual dining restaurant and a delicatessen.
